Autumn in the Highlands

Autumn is without a doubt my favourite time of year; conflagration ravages the retinas at every turn. After a scorching summer and fruit-crippling heatwaves, though, Autumn arrived this year a little later than normal. While there have been no frosts as yet and the days are glorious, the bracing mornings hint of the coming winter. And, yes, I appreciate the simple luxury of the timer on our central heating. Kicks in at 5am…Mmmmm…no more goosebumps.

(I’ll put a few more photos up when I’ve charged the battery in my camera…Snaps to Ali for preparation!)
